How long should my Galaxy S3 Extended Battery last?
Our extended batteries are twice the capacity of your original battery. But in terms of actual hours, the average user sees about 8-16 hours more battery life than your regular battery. Other more battery conscious users have received 40+ total hours of battery life. It depends on charging habits and your smartphone usage habits.
Do these batteries support Quick Charge, or Fast Charge?
This extended life battery for Galaxy S3 is not compatible with Quick Charge, you need to charge at least 8 hours every time. Using quick charge could damage your battery long term.
How long should I charge my S3 extended life battery?
Depending on the size of your battery we recommend 9 to 10 hours of consecutive charging. If your battery is 4500mah or higher you would want to charge your battery for at least 8-10 hours. Even when it says that it is fully charged, keep charging overnight. If you don't the battery will show that it is draining quickly.
Your phone will take a little while to adjust to the new battery capacity. The phone will think that it is fully charged but it is not. The battery will slowly charge the rest of the way all night.
Is this Samsung Galaxy S3 extended battery bigger than a regular battery?
This battery is twice the capacity of a regular battery. To fit in all that power, the battery is slightly thicker than a regular battery. Your old back plate, and existing cases will not fit the new battery size. After a few days, or even hours you will adjust to the added weight.
Why is my Galaxy S3 extended battery not holding a charge?
The most common reason a battery doesn't seem to be holding a charge is due to the battery not being charged the proper amount. This is the reason about 95% of the time. The other could be a bad charger, a low-quality cable, or keeping your phone in a really high or really low temperature environment.
My Samsung Galaxy S3 battery has a bulge in the middle. What does this mean?
There are a few reasons for this. If your battery is over a year old, it could mean your battery is seeing its last days. If you’ve only had it for several months, it could be due to improper charging. If you are still within warranty, please contact us at support@gorillagadgets.com.
